Molly Tarlov is a fan of LoweCo. but before she was a fan of us, we were a fan of hers. Well, more specifically, Catherine Giudici was a fan of hers. We use her maiden name to show just how long she's been aware of this talented, sassy lady of MTV's Awkward. In the teen comedy series, Molly plays Sadie Saxton, the mean, popular girl of Palos Hills High School who is known for her wit, especially when it comes to caustic barbs that are usually followed by a sarcastic "You're welcome."

There is no shortage of wit when it comes to Sadie, Molly and LoweCo. That's why we were excited to hear which of our cards was Molly's favorite and why.

"TUSH is my fave saying because it's exactly how I feel about my favorite tush! I only have eyes for one tush and now the human attached to the tush can see it written in white and white! Plus, tush is such a fun word to say. Tush."
This card is flirty to the max. Molly is obvi in love and getting married to her dream human and still wants to be flirty with him. (You should always be flirty with your "other", people.) Just like Molly, I only have eyes for one tush and that's why this saying was even created. So for all the people out there that love spreading a little tush love (ewww that came out wrong) this card is for you. So...poco or macho?
And yes, Molly, I'll be your best friend :)

Sad happens. Sometimes your friend needs a pick-me-up so grab her favorite comfort treat and jot "I love you, this too shall pass." on the inside of a BOOHOO poco or give her some more words of wisdom or some inside jokes to make her laugh on our larger macho card.

An obvious play on words - puns are our favorite - this card is all about sharing your love with someone. Be it a confidante, your main squeeze or even your dog (you'd have to make sure a treat was given alongside), MY FAVORITE COLOR IS BYOU goes for all types of relationships. Side note: Owner Catherine Lowe was at a book signing for her husband's book and a guest there asked Catherine what to write to her husband on an anniversary card. On the spot, she said "MY FAVORITE COLOR IS BYOU" with a giggle and decided that saying was good enough for her to keep for herself down the road. And voila, here we are!

I'm partial to all of the cards' sentiments--it's like having a favorite child--so I love to ask people which is their favorite. Every so often, I'll tell you who likes which and why. We'll start this feature called "They Lowe Us" with former star of The Bachelorette, Kaitlyn Bristowe.

Kaitlyn is one of the realest, most unapologetic personalities The Bachelor franchise has ever had and for this, I wanted to know her thoughts on Lowe Co. I trust her judgment not only because she's funny and fearless, but because she fell in love with a tall, dirty blonde guy named Shawn. The girl's got good taste.

Some of the sayings I create make me giggle aloud when I finally hone them. This one made me laugh. It has a dry wit about it and just like Kaitlyn described: it's confident. It works for men and women, guys and girls because it's so bold and isn't fussy. Anyone who has the endurance to last more than a year with someone or something has the maturity and sense of humor to enjoy this card. I could see a husband covering the jewelry box he'll gift his wife with it, or a cool girlfriend sticking it on her boyfriend's car dashboard before he picks her up for the obvious Date Night.
If you're three months deep into something, stick it out so you can surprise someone with this card. Yes, it's that important. Blame Kaitlyn if the next nine months are hell.

Houston, you were good to us. Despite the traffic in, the road trip was flawless. And the event?! Goodness gracious, talent was IN THE HOUSE. Owner and calligraphy extraordinaire Dionne Christiansen led twenty-five women to design envelopes in a fun way (and taught how to butter up the postal workers to let you ship them fancy thangs) while being fed sweet treats and equally sweet drinks.
Each participant received a personalized acrylic clipboard and drinking glass, a package of vintage stamps for practice postage, envelopes of varying sizes, calligraphy pens, and four macho cards from LoweCo.

Nib and Pixel gave insight into the design priorities of creating a mail experience and making the aesthetic very "you". Dionne encouraged participants to explore different ways to relay the emotion to the recipient of these fabulous envelopes being crafted.

It's graduation season and those grads need some gifts!
